Mainly an uncommon winter visitor, but turns up at other times as well. All records given:

3. 2 over Longham Reservoir North, 16th November 2006.
4. 1 on 15th September 2007, followed by 6 on 21st and 7 on 22nd.
5. 1 on the Quarry, 26th January 2008.
6. 1 on the Quarry, 20th March 2008.
7. 1 in the Quarry, 31st August 2008.
8. 9 over on 7th November 2008.
9. 1 on 12th and 20th November 2008.
10. 1 on the Quarry on 9th January 2009.

22. 12 on the floods on Hampreston Fields, 9th January 2011 (Terry Elborn) then at least 50 over the site on 11th January (Kevin Lane), and then 22 on 18th January. 3 on 24th January.

26. A flock of 11 over LR South on 17th July 2011 (Trevor Thorpe, Rob Trundle).
27. A flock of 13 over on 31st October 2011.
28. 15 over on 4th December 2011 (Shaun Robson) and 2 on 18th December (Philip Horobin).

2012 records: An astonishing series of records began with 1 on 24th April, then 24 flying over north on 1st May (George Green), 7 on the main island on LR South on 2nd May (Dominic Couzens), then 36 on 4th May, 40 on 8th May and an incredible 62 on 10th May (Chris Parnell). Then 10 on 17th May. In the winter, 1 on Hampreston Fields on 3rd November (Alan Pearce), 16 at the same place on 18th November (DC).

2013: Year started with quite a bang: On 10th March flocks of 17, 70 , 60 , 13 , 25 , 40 were counted all flying eastwards and 38 on the island [263 altogether, a new record] (Trevor Thorpe, WEBS). Then 1 on 23rd October (Harris), 22 on 10th November (Robin Trundle).

2014: 65 on 24th November on the floods at Hampreston Fields (Robin Trundle), dwindling to 18 on 28th November (DC) and 9 on 30th (Alan Pearce). 3 on 24th December (GG).

2015: 5 on 21st February (GG), 1 on 4th September, 80 on 24th November and 43 on 28th November.
