STATUS AT LONGHAM LAKES

Rare but regular passage migrant.

1. 1 1st-summer bird feeding over Longham Reservoir North on 3rd May 2004.
2. 1 over Longham Reservoir North on 14th September 2007 (Trevor Thorpe).
3. 1 1st-summer bird feeding over Longham Reservoir North on 24th April 2008.
4. 1 1st-winter over Longham Reservoir North on 5th November 2008 (mobbed on water by 3 Black-headed Gulls), then again on 6th, 12th and 20th November (Trevor Thorpe).
5. 4 adults over Longham Reservoir North on 6th November 2008.
6. 1 1st-summer on 23rd May 2010 (Aidan Brown).
7. 1 1st winter on 10th October 2010 (John Lockwood).
8. 1 obliging 1st-summer spent much time feeding over LR South from at least 13th April to 6th June 2011 (Chris Parnell).

20. 2 on 21st April 2015, then 3 on 22nd (1 adult, 1 1st-winter and 1 1st-summer) (Lorne Bissell). 1 remained on 23rd April.
21. 1 juvenile on 4th September and 11th September 2016 (Martin Wood).
