White-fronted Goose (Anser albifrons)
Status at Longham Lakes
Very rare winter visitor with just one recent record. May have once wintered more regularly in the Stour Valley.
1. A party of 8 (including at least 1 juvenile) made a brief appearance in the fields along the Stour between Longham and Hampreston, associating with a flock of Canada Geese, 4-5th January 2009.
